Wow!! Quite a great start this month. I increased my revenue to a grand total of $605.

-- Set a clear vision --

As I started down this path as an entrepreneur on the web, I had many choices to make. But once I had found the void I wanted to target, and set a vision regarding who I was making the service for, and had defined a sample audience to target first, things went very very smooth.

A clear vision allows you to not get distracted with all the opportunities that are available with web services. A niche market, as many have mentioned lately, is the great frontier for developers, as there are seemingly endless opportunities.

Be different, and be focused on your vision and goals, and success will come in some form or fashion.

So, the lesson for the day is -- Define for yourself a vision, and digg deep within that vision to clearly set goals and expectations, along with a target audience, so that you never get confused or side tracked regarding who you are creating this service for.
